Take Cover Skin System For A Tummy Tuck Scar

The Tale Of A Tummy Tuck Scar

Watch this video to see how the coverage works for a tummy tuck scar.

Thirty eight year old Abigail, mother of two, was left with having to face a lifetime of stretch marks and excess skin  around her abdomen due to weight gained during her pregnancies. The thought of not being able to show her stomach in a bikini severely affected her self esteem and confidence.   In an attempt to overcome her lack of self esteem, Abigail decided to book an appointment with a top plastic surgeon, David R Gately for an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck surgery). The operation was successful and achieved a toned flat stomach again, but inevitably , left a scar of 17 inches long to the abdomen.

Abigail had initially sort Take Cover Skin System with a concern for blemishes on her back. When Abigail came for the consultation we talked about how she felt regarding her stomach and decided that we would also see if we could work on making a difference to it’s appearance.  A  colour match was formulated for her stomach and coincidentally, her stomach matched the skin tone on her back.   The blemishes due to acne scarring on her back were not excessive or severe, so offered a fairly light finish to obtain a perfect result.

Here is Abigail’s story of how she personally felt before and after meeting with Take Cover Skin System.

“I have scars on my abdomen and back which have been affecting my self-esteem for years. I used to hate summer time as I was always envious of other people showing their beautiful skin. I had also given up the idea of ever wearing a bikini again. When I found out about Gerri’s amazing system, I saw the light at the end of the tunnel. Take Cover Skin System wonderfully erased my darkened scars.  It was a simple procedure, quick drying, and my skin looked and felt flawless. The results for me were just astonishing, and I couldn’t stop looking at myself in the mirror.  I was in tears! The application  didn’t come off even after showering".
"Gerri,  I can’t thank you enough, as you absolutely boosted my self-esteem and now I feel fantastic. Your system is just amazing and I would like to recommend it highly to everyone. I can’t wait for my summer vacation as  I will try wearing a  bikini for the first time in 15 years!!”

TAKE COVER SKIN SYSTEM FOR A BRIDE

What Take Cover Skin System Can Do For A Bride On Her Wedding Day

It is important for a bride to look her utmost on her wedding day.  My belief is, a bride's commitment is with  looking flawlessly perfect for her perfect day!

The  'I Do' Pure Perfection Package consists of  two appointments with Take Cover Skin System.  The first appointment is for the Colour Match Consultation and Trial Makeup Application.  The Custom Colour Match is kept on file.  Once the client has had time to decide whether she would like to go ahead with the second appointment, her wedding day, Take Cover Skin System travels to the bride's location where a Take Cover Airbrush Technician will reapply the makeup as carried out at the clinic.  Below is a case study of a bride preparing for  her wedding day.

Twenty-five year old Em wants to look perfect for  her wedding day, so she has invites Take Cover Skin System to  help her ensure that she can achieve this.

Em had developed Erythema Multiforme, two years ago, after an outbreak due to an allergic reaction. It consists of  blistered  type lesions on the skin’s service that are painful and cause swelling.  This often  leaves permanent dark scarring on the skin’s service.  With Em, the scarring has affected most of her face and body.  It is known to re-occur, and the exact cause is still unknown.

How does Take Cover Skin System start to achieve a flawless skin with a Colour Match Consultation and Makeup Application?

We start by preparing the colour match. When booking an appointment with Take Cover Skin System at least 2 hours will need to be allowed to obtain the colour match and apply the makeup
for lower or upper body appointments, and one hour for the face only.

For Em, more than one colour match needs to be achieved to work on the different locations of the body. The  aim would be to have all the colour matches blending in together to give a natural appearance.
It is always advised that the makeup is not applied too heavily.  Once the makeup has been evenly airbrushed on, it is difficult for the eye to detect the blemishes beneath.  For Em’s profession having smooth, flawless skin is a must.

Not long after Em’s first consultation, she decided to purchase the kit that had provided her with the airbrush and compressor, custom colour match makeup, including training with application. Em says with careful use, it can last for up to four days on her body, which is then either reapplied or topped up. Let’s look at the process.

You can tell a good colour match when you can’t see the colour going onto the skin whilst being airbrushed.  This is identified during the testing process.

Attention to detail is very important, as this determines the finished effect.

Over time  during airbrushing you start to notice a definite build up as the scarring starts to fade.

Just the finishing touches and we are ready to put on the wedding dress ordered from Luellas Boudoir.

This whole process enables you to feel free and focus on what is important for the moment....
Your special day!

TAKE COVER TATTOO FOR MODELS

Meet the very recent award winner for Best Bikini Body at Miss Universe Great Britain 2011 final, Natasha Crook.  It was Natasha’s goal to join Donald Trump for Miss Universe 2011. After coming a close second Natasha continues to be in constant demand for appointments for lingerie and swimwear companies such as  DKNY lingerie.

Not only is Natasha beautiful on the outside, she has the most amazing energy.  We both felt that we had known each other for years.  I was introduced to her by Nickie Purewal , manager of  RMG Models and owner of Essential Extracts . Natasha is now an ambassador for Take Cover Tattoo for Models with Take Cover Skin System.

We arranged an evening of photo shoots with photographer Vanda Ralevska , who manages to capture the moments of your day, be it for a special occasion or just magical moments with Images In Focus.

Natasha says at times she regrets having the tattoo, and it can get costly editing every photo.  Nickie says  that having tattoos can sometimes affect whether a model will get booked or not, so, Natasha is here today with the Skin Stylist of Take Cover Skin System, to find a perfect custom colour match to cover her tattoo completely.

Let’s have a look at Natasha’s tattoo.  It is situated along the lower part of the hip and stomach. Quite visible when doing lingerie shoots.

The process will start by obtaining a colour match.  So we need to identify the closest colours to match up with Natasha’s unique skin tone to cover the tattoo effectively enough to blend in with the rest of her torso.

Obtaining a colour match for Natasha was the biggest challenge I had ever encountered .  Natasha rejoiced over the  idea she was such a challenge! J Amazingly this was achieved by sheer determination, skill and just one extra drop of a colour farthest from the expected tones you would use on a skin tone that is of half French and half Italian parentage.  It felt like being in a science lab!

Now that the colours have been identified, they will be mixed to perfection and tested again before proceeding.

We are happy with the colour match, so now we are ready to make up the colour and prepare the airbrush.

Using an airbrush is the best way to apply the custom colour match makeup.

We are now some minutes into  the airbrushing process.

Because a permanent tattoo is embedded quite deeply under many skin layers, the  coverage requires you to build up quite heavily, so there is a technique that is used to enable the coverage to look as smooth and as blended as possible.  The smaller the tattoo, the more difficult this is to achieve.

I think we are almost there.

We are done.

Natasha checks in the mirror to make sure she is happy with the results.

I believe she is very happy with the results.  Just to make sure, let’s go back to how the tattoo looked before the job was carried out to cover it.

Ahh yes!! There it is.

Aaah!! That's better!

That's a wrap!!
